A little about THE TEAM

Kiran Persad, Certified Athletic Therapist and Registered Massage Therapist with Field Me Athletic Therapy.

Bio

Kiran is a Certified Athletic Therapist with a passion for athletic therapy that helps people move better, feel stronger, and return to doing what they love. Over the years, he has worked with athletes at all levels—starting with the University of Toronto Varsity Men’s Hockey, Soccer, and Football teams. He has also spent time with the Ottawa Redblacks in the CFL as an Assistant Athletic Therapist and collaborated closely with the Toronto FC Academy. Currently, he serves as the Head Athletic Therapist for York United in the Canadian Premier League.

With experience across a wide range of sports, Kiran has developed a strong ability to assess and treat various injuries—not just for elite athletes but also for weekend warriors and everyday active individuals. He believes that athletic therapy can benefit anyone looking to enhance their physical health through effective sports rehabilitation.

Kiran adopts a hands-on, personalized approach to care, blending manual therapy with movement and exercise. He also employs taping techniques to provide clients with that extra support and confidence as they return to their activities.

No matter the sport or goal, Kiran is dedicated to helping you feel your best and get back to your game—whatever that may look like for you, utilizing his expertise in kinesiology and physical therapy.

Professional portrait of Raphael Kalathil, a registered physiotherapist and NeuroKinetic Therapy certified.

Bio

Raphael is a dedicated physiotherapist and Certified Athletic Therapist who brings a thoughtful and hands-on approach to helping people move better and feel stronger. He graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University in 2013 and went on to earn his Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University in 2016.

Throughout his career, Raphael has gained valuable experience in a variety of clinical settings, including private practices, sports clinics, and hospital care. This range has equipped him to successfully treat everything from acute sports injuries to chronic work-related conditions and general musculoskeletal pain through effective physical therapy and sports rehabilitation techniques.

Raphael’s treatment philosophy focuses on restoring proper joint mechanics through manual therapy, then building on that foundation with muscle retraining and motor control strategies. His goal is to correct dysfunctional movement patterns and create lasting change—not just temporary relief. Every treatment plan is customized, and patients can expect one-on-one care and personalized exercise programs built around their unique needs and goals.

Raphael is also trained in NeuroKinetic Therapy® (NKT)—a system that looks beyond the symptoms to find and treat the cause of dysfunction. NKT works by identifying faulty movement patterns stored in the brain and retraining them, helping patients truly move forward in their recovery.

Whether you're an athlete, a weekend warrior, or simply looking to get back to movement, Raphael is here to support you every step of the way.

We believe that hands-on therapy is an essential part of any rehabilitation plan, particularly in the realm of athletic therapy—but it doesn’t stop there. If poor movement patterns aren’t being reinforced and corrected through active rehab, the root of the issue will remain. That’s why our approach combines the expertise of a Certified Athletic Therapist with manual therapy and targeted, movement-based strategies grounded in Kinesiology to create lasting results and help you return stronger than ever through effective physical therapy and sports rehabilitation.
